En tant qu’Anomalie – le projet de production de jazz contemporain changeant et axé sur l’électronique qu’il a dévoilé en 2016 – l’artiste né et basé à Montréal s’est taillé sa propre place dans l’industrie de la musique. Il combine ses talents de classe mondiale en tant que compositeur, producteur et claviériste de formation classique et jazz avec une approche électronique novatrice, puisant une grande partie de son inspiration dans son éducation dans la métropole canadienne.

Anomalie a canalisé son éducation musicale (sa mère, professeur de piano, et son père, animateur à Radio-Canada), sa formation scolaire et son expérience de la scène dans un impressionnant corpus de musique enregistrée. Avec une fusion de genres unique qui englobe le jazz, l’électronique, le hip-hop, le funk et parfois même la musique classique, Anomalie a cultivé une fanbase diversifiée – une combinaison de la nouvelle scène jazz (Snarky Puppy, Thundercat, Louis Cole), de la scène soulful beats (FKJ, Masego, Tom Misch) et de la scène électronique post dubstep (Griz, Odesza, Opiuo). Ce projet novateur a recueilli d’impressionnantes signatures de la part de leaders de l’industrie tels que Questlove, Charlie Puth, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Shad, Snarky Puppy, Masego, et bien d’autres encore.

With a unique genre fusion that spans jazz, electronic, hip-hop, funk, and sometimes even classical music, Anomalie has cultivated a diverse fanbase– a combination of the new jazz scene (Snarky Puppy, Thundercat, Louis Cole), the soulful beats scene (FKJ, Masego, Tom Misch), and the post dubstep electronic scene (Griz, Odesza, Opiuo).
