HABITER LE LIEU – INHABITING THE PLACE

L’exposition Habiter le Lieu met en dialogue les pratiques de Shazia Ahmad et d’Alissa Osumi à travers leurs contrastes sémantiques et formels plutôt que leurs similitudes. L’exposition propose une rencontre poétique entre l’infiniment petit du rituel intime et l’immensité du paysage, autour d’une question essentielle : comment les lieux que nous habitons et traversons façonnent-ils notre rapport au monde, et comment leurs traces demeurent-elles en nous ?

The exhibition Inhabiting the Place brings the practices of Shazia Ahmad and Alissa Osumi into dialogue through their semantic and formal contrasts rather than their similarities. It offers a poetic encounter between the infinitely small scale of intimate ritual and the vastness of the landscape, centered on an essential question: How do the places we inhabit and move through shape our relationship to the world, and how do their traces remain within us?
