In this Policy, the terms “Gesù – Centre de créativité,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Gesù – Centre de créativité.

We accept our obligation to manage your data responsibly. We do not and will not sell your data to third parties.

This policy applies to the use of the www.legesu.com website and its mobile app (the “Site”). Please read it carefully to ensure you understand when you’re providing your data to us and how we will use it. By using our Site, you consent to your personal data being used as outlined in this Policy. As a user of our platforms, you also agree to respect and safeguard the private information of third parties.

To make this Policy as clear as possible, we have identified occasions where a user might share personal information with us. The Policy is thus divided into sections as follows:

  • Learn more about Gesù – Centre de créativité

  • Buy tickets

  • Sign up for the newsletter

  • Contact our booking service and fill in our online query form (producers)

We collect: Your IP address, information provided by cookies or similar technology (e.g., the browser type and version you use to access our Site), the page that led you to our Site, the amount of time you spend on our Site, the pages you choose to view, the time you spend on each page, the identity of your Internet service provider, and the date and time you access our Site. We collect data such as your browser ID and language, your operating system, and your geographic location. We also collect data about your activity on our Site, such as sections visited, YouTube videos viewed, etc.

Why: The data we collect helps analyze how our Site is used and accessed so we can enhance and optimize its features to better meet our users’ needs.

Legal basis: Your consent. We also need this information for our legitimate interests (enhancing and personalizing our services) and yours (meeting your needs more effectively).

Buy Tickets

When you buy tickets through our Site, by phone, or at the box office, you’re using the Tuxedo platform (iCible Group’s online ticket office) at www.tuxedosolution.com). When you finalize your purchase, some of your personal data is compiled in a customer record or file.

In particular, we collect your first and last name, gender, email address, postal address, phone number, and language of correspondence. You can also indicate in your customer file whether you’re a person with reduced mobility, are visually or hearing impaired, or would like to subscribe to our newsletter. Financial information is not stored in your customer file.

Why: We use this information to process your ticket purchase, to contact you about the event in question (cancellations, show reminders, etc.) and for marketing, statistical, or communication purposes. Some information will prove useful when you arrive (allowing us to adapt our services to let Mira guide dogs into the venue, for example).

Legal basis: This information is needed to fulfill the sales contract between you and us. It is also required for the buyer’s legitimate interests (i.e. to obtain tickets purchased from Gesù – Centre de créativité), to ensure we are paid, and to analyze customer data. When you pay for your purchase online, your bank details will be sent through Authorize.net and Global Payments.

Please note that if you refuse to provide the requested data, we may be unable to process your request and complete your purchase.

Sign Up for the Newsletter

When you make a transaction on our Site, or sign up for our newsletter through the Site’s “About us” or “What’s new?” tabs, we collect your email address and your first and last name.

Why: We use this information to send you our newsletter, as requested, and to personalize our communications with you. Please note that you may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

Legal basis: Your consent. This information is also needed for your legitimate interests (i.e. to get the newsletter for which you’ve signed up).

Contact Our Booking Service and Fill in the Online Query Form (Producers)

When you fill in the query form to rent our venue, the following data is collected: Your name, phone number, email address, type of event you want to organize, desired dates, and any other information you may wish to provide.

Why: This helps us address your query so we can assist you properly through the rental process. It also helps us identify you.

Legal basis: This information is also needed for your legitimate interests (i.e. to get an answer to your query) and ours (so we can assess and identify potential co-contractors).

Respond to a Job Posting

When you apply, we ask for some personal data to help process your application. To respond to an online job posting, you can write directly to the Outlook/Microsoft email address of the contact person named therein.

We collect: Your first and last name, phone number, email address, CV, work history, qualifications, relevant references, and any other information you choose to provide.

Why: We use this information to review your application and answer it where appropriate.

Legal basis: Required for our legitimate interests (so we can assess whether your profile matches what we’re looking for) and yours (so you can apply for a job with our company and get an answer if your application interests us).

Contact Us

You may have questions and wish to contact us by email at one of the addresses in the “Contact us” section of our Site, or by phone. During this process, we will collect information such as your first and last name, your email address, and any other data you voluntarily provide in the course of communicating with us. When you send your query, your email will be redirected to the Outlook address of the contact person.

Why: We use this information to identify you and respond to your questions or queries. We also collect it to meet our contractual obligations when your initial contact concerns a transaction with us.

Legal basis: This information is required to correctly identify any person who contacts us and to ensure we can address related queries and requests (your legitimate interests and ours). It is also needed to meet our contractual obligations, where applicable.

HOW WE USE COOKIES

When visiting our Site, you might be sharing data with us through cookies or similar technology, including digital analytics cookies.

A cookie is a file containing a small amount of data on a given user. Such data might include a unique anonymous identifier or ID. Cookies are stored on the user’s computer or the hard drive of another device. They help us tailor your user experience each time you visit our Site.

You can choose to accept or refuse cookies when you read and “validate” our privacy policy. Please feel free to view our cookie policy here. Please note that information collected by cookies cannot identify you personally.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA, AND WHY?

We do not and will not sell our users’ personal information under any circumstances. Your data will be shared only under the terms set out in this Policy. However, when you consent to the Policy, there is a chance it will be shared with the following parties:

Producers and artists who rent our venues (clause included in the rental contract). Gesù – Centre de créativité has an exclusive ticketing service for a wide range of producers or artists who want to rent our venue for performances. When you buy tickets or other services through our Site, by phone, or at the box office, some of your personal data is collected in a customer file to help manage your bookings, ticket purchases, and other related services. Data that may be shared with a venue lessor on request, as noted in the lease agreement, is for marketing, communication, and statistics, and will always be limited to your first and last name, your postal and email address, your phone number, the number of tickets purchased, the total cost, and the date and time of your purchase. No other personal information will be conveyed to or shared with the lessor. Venue lessors have access in the ticket system only to personal data on their audiences and may communicate with you directly about show tickets purchased by you. The venue lessor may not use your personal data for direct marketing purposes or disclose it to unauthorized third parties. Before sharing personal data with venue lessors, we contractually require that they take suitable precautions to protect it.

As a show producer, Gesù
Centre de créativité may use, in its own right, and for marketing, communication, and statistical purposes, personal data on the audiences of shows it produces.

Third-party providers In the course of our operations, there is a chance we’ll need to share some of your data with third parties (for example, with our IT providers in carrying out their mandate or fulfilling a service contract). We may also share some data with professionals bound by professional secrecy such as lawyers or accountants. Our providers will essentially only collect, use, and share your data where necessary to deliver their services (hosting our website through GoDaddy, providing ticket and statistical services through TUXEDO Ticketing, etc.).

Our third-party service providers have their own privacy policies for data we need to share with them when using their services. We recommend you carefully read their privacy policies so you understand how they’ll treat your personal data. Please note that some of these providers are outside Quebec and that your data may therefore be sent outside Canada. Once you leave our Site or are redirected to a third party site or app, you are no longer covered by this Policy.
